It's sad that non MAC users always complain about MAC and talk shit about them.
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!
Not necessarily. I purchased a MacBook Pro 13" a few months a back, and returned it after a week or two. When you see them on websites and magazines, you cannot help but drool over their magnificent beauty. But when you buy one, you quickly realise that a Mac is just a regular PC with a hefty price tag and a worthless operating system.

They are not bad, but they are not that good either. Certainly not worth the amount of ass-kissing the press gives them. :ThumbsDown:

I'm one of those MAC haters TBO, however I do appreciate that Apple have done some good things in the industry, so have IBM and for that matter Xerox, three of the companies that I love to hate.

However as a pure enthusiast I have to say that nothing caters more for my needs than a PC and nowadays everything a MAC can do a PC can do.

Myth. ::D

Never realy could game on a mac at least now adays they use real chips instead of motorola stuff, now mac users have the chance to game. I just hate the mac users that are snobs :P: . Macs are good for what they are used for multimedia editing and the like. Except when you only had one mouse button wtf i hated using ps on a mac back then, you mean to tell me i have to go to the menu i cant right click booo. But they figured it out :clap: .

MACs are the better machines tbh, but this is not a surprise really. All the MACs hardware/software is in-house, so they (Apple) have better control. Unlike our IBM compats. With there million different H.D.Ds, Motherboards, Memory... etc. So unlike MACs we've to deal with lots of different drivers all written by third party vendors from our OS.

If you're someone like Ockie then you need a MAC as in his trade they do the job WAY better than any IBM compat.

But I do agree that there is now a snobbery about these machines and seem to be owned a lot of the time by Yuppies, who don't have a clue WHY!! they bought one except for the fact that "ITS A MAC" now I really hate those kind of MAC users.

I'm am not sure about that anymore. Becouse at work i use a HP normal pc with XP on it.
And Adobe Creative Suite works just fine on it.

Yeah i know what you mean. Those are the same guys who put that apple logo sticker on their car. At least that's what you see here in the Netherlands.
I'm not really a fanboy or something. I'm just used to work with MAC's. But Nowadays i rather work on a pc to be honest.

Ockie

I got 2 apple logo stickers with my iPhone...
I gave one to my brother who seems to like it just because it's an apple (in the meaning of fruit) and the other one is tucked deep in my desk drawer along with the manual =P

Thinking they're being somewhat indie and non-conformist buying from one of the biggest capitalist machines on the electronic market. I'm thinking of getting one for use with my MBox + Pro Tools, but that's because it's convenient and portable, not because it's made by Apple. They call their designers 'Geniuses', how pretentious is that?
