I do have a PS3 so I checked out a few trailers.

Looks like a massive spamfest and you can't even easily tell who is on your side.

Give me TF2 any day over something like this.

Myth. ::D

PS. I can see how some might like it, I suppose it depends how it stacks up against games like call of duty.

I have this game and you really need to play it to understand it...The sheer numbers is (obviously) the main selling point here. Telling who is and who isn't on your side has yet to be a problem for me and provided you're on a good team who are using headsets, this can be one of the most fun games you've ever played.

I just watched a review of it, and it feels like a great idea badly implemented. I was expecting utter chaos and destruction, but it looks rather calm for a 200-man battle. I have seen Team Fortress 2 matches with more intensity than this.

No matter what, it is still an engineering triumph to be able to get 256 players simultaneously on a first-person shooter with little lag. Hopefully Valve or other great developers will take this idea on board and craft a more refined version of the game.

Fraid Planetside did it first and on Dial up. :P

I was hoping this would come close to the old Planetside, but I never bothtered to download the Beta client when I was offered. So I haven't seen much. I may still pick it up, but I can't say for sure.
